Capacity Eurasia 2025, held in Istanbul, once again demonstrated that Türkiye is a rapidly developing digital hub. Hosting representatives of more than 250 companies from 46 countries, this prestigious gathering brought industry leaders together, laid the groundwork for new collaborations and enabled a valuable exchange of ideas.
The rapid growth of Türkiye’s data center market is driven by dynamics such as the widespread adoption of cloud computing, the increasing use of content delivery networks (CDNs) and the country’s strategic geographic position between Europe, the Middle East and Asia. Throughout the event, participants discussed in depth how to increase Türkiye’s potential in regional and global data center investments, as well as global fiber and cloud solutions, new technologies, sustainability, opportunities for collaboration with international companies, creative solutions, and new construction and design methods.
This strong momentum is positioning Türkiye as a regional digital hub and continuously increasing demand for new data centers, PoPs (Points of Presence), CLSs (Cable Landing Stations), edge deployments and hyperscale investments. Today, 32 operational colocation data centers in cities such as Istanbul, Ankara, İzmir, Bursa, Denizli and Tekirdağ provide an IT load capacity of approximately 120 MW. Planned investments amount to tens of times the current capacity.
